Two Man HGV Gang - Service Providere

Our client specialises in repair, replacement and reinstatement and is looking for a Two Man HGV Gang to join their growing organisation.

Working as a two-man team, you will operate across contracts totalling a value of £30 million per annum.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a two-man team to carry out tarmacking works on roads and highways ensuring high-quality results
• Safely operate and manage the HGV to transport materials and equipment to job sites, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations
• Assist in the preparation of sites for tarmacking, including setting up barriers, signage, and ensuring the work area is safe and ready for operations
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe handling of materials, and maintaining a safe work environment
• Work closely with your partner to ensure efficient workflow, effective communication, and the timely completion of all tasks

Skills/Must have:

• Previous experience in tarmacking or road surfacing is essential, with a good understanding of the process and techniques involved
• Strong ability to work effectively as part of a two-man team, with excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to tarmacking and construction sites
• Must hold a valid Class 2 license with a clean driving record
• NRSWA Operative accreditation is key

Salary:

• £400 a day (split across each operative)
