Responsibilities: 

• Oversee and manage high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems, ensuring safe operation and maintenance.
• Issue and revoke Permits to Work, ensuring all personnel are aware of electrical safety requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop method statements to promote safe working practices.
• Provide technical support and create safety documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations on-site.
• Mentor team members and address on-site challenges.

Required Skills:

• Ability to issue full safety documents, including permits to work and sanctions for tests.
• Proven track record of performing complex switch operations.
• Background in managing high voltage system operations.
• Experience in conducting thorough risk assessments and safety planning.
• Strong supervisory experience, including overseeing and delegating responsibilities to authorized personnel (APs) and other personnel.
• Certified to work on UK Power Networks (UKPN).
