Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day project delivery, ensuring adherence to client requirements, safety, quality, and supplier performance
  • Oversee commercial management and reporting to line managers
  • Promote a “Safety First” and “Right First Time” culture across field operations with supplier engagement
  • Lead M&E field supervisors on designated projects, ensuring effective management of the team
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, quality failures, and service deterioration, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Identify budget risks, supplier issues, and overhead costs early through close collaboration with the commercial team
  • Oversee staff work schedules and assign duties to meet performance standards, contractual KPIs, and SLAs
  • Conduct regular audits of staff performance and quality of work to uphold service standards
  • Provide timely reports to the Contract Manager on project progress, challenges, and solutions while promoting a positive departmental image and ensuring compliance with company policies


Skills/Must have:

  • Strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities
  • Experience working on NEC 3-4 contracts
  • Background in healthcare project delivery from a mechanical perspective
  • Recognised Building Services Qualification (ONC/HNC) in Building Services Engineering
  • Extensive experience in programme management
  • Strong mechanical systems knowledge for installation on designated projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Computer literate with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable and flexible, with a focus on quality, safety, continuous improvement, and meeting deadlines Legal right to work in the UK, full UK driving license
