Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day project delivery, ensuring adherence to client requirements, safety, quality, and supplier performance
- Oversee commercial management and reporting to line managers
- Promote a “Safety First” and “Right First Time” culture across field operations with supplier engagement
- Lead M&E field supervisors on designated projects, ensuring effective management of the team
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, quality failures, and service deterioration, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Identify budget risks, supplier issues, and overhead costs early through close collaboration with the commercial team
- Oversee staff work schedules and assign duties to meet performance standards, contractual KPIs, and SLAs
- Conduct regular audits of staff performance and quality of work to uphold service standards
- Provide timely reports to the Contract Manager on project progress, challenges, and solutions while promoting a positive departmental image and ensuring compliance with company policies
Skills/Must have:
- Strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities
- Experience working on NEC 3-4 contracts
- Background in healthcare project delivery from a mechanical perspective
- Recognised Building Services Qualification (ONC/HNC) in Building Services Engineering
- Extensive experience in programme management
- Strong mechanical systems knowledge for installation on designated projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Computer literate with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable and flexible, with a focus on quality, safety, continuous improvement, and meeting deadlines Legal right to work in the UK, full UK driving license
