Fibre Installation Engineer - ISP

Our client is a leading ISP whose network serves over 35,000 customers across hundreds of build locations in the UK. They provide ultrafast internet access directly into new homes and businesses across the country on a 100% full fibre network.

They are currently looking for experienced Contract or PAYE Fibre Installation Engineers with fibre splicing expertise to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of high-speed fibre optic networks into their rapidly growing customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Installing fibre optic cabling and equipment into homes and businesses 
• Performing fibre splicing and testing to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshooting and resolving on-site network issues
• Collaborating with the network planning team to streamline installations
• Maintaining high standards of work to meet both technical and customer satisfaction goals

Skills/Must have:

• Proven experience in fibre installation, including fibre splicing
• Knowledge of fibre optic networks and installation procedures
• SA001
• NRSWA
• Full UK driving license

Salary and benefits:

• £33,000 per annum
•  12% bonus paid twice a year 
•  Van and fuel card
•  25 days holiday plus bank holidays
