Fibre Engineer (Cabling) - Telecommunications

With over two years of experience working on the Hyperoptic network, the company is now seeking two teams of three to expand their workforce. Each team will consist of two cablers and one splicer, with at least one team member fully equipped (all stock provided). If a team member is skilled in both splicing and cabling, the team can operate as a two-person unit.

Skills/Must have:

• Previous experience in the telecommunications is required, ideally within new builds 
• Ability to interpret jobs packs and splice plans, feeding back any anomalies that occur 
• Fault finding experience, completed in both a systematic and timely manner, ensuring data is collected and recorded as necessary
• A track record in completing all relevant documentation in accordance with timelines 
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant certifications in fibre splicing/cabling

Fully equipped engineers are required to have the following: 

• Van
• Splicer
• Cobra
• Roll bar
• Gate Guards 
• GDU

Salary:

• £170 to £220
• Salary is dependent on whether you are a fully equipped or non-equipped engineer
