Are you an experienced Security Architect with a passion for Zero Trust principles? Join this market-leading telecommunications company for a dynamic 6-month contract role working inside IR35. Th client is offering a 6 Month contract with the view to extension for over 12 months.
As a Zero Trust Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing and validating the architecture and design of both new and existing IT infrastructure and application projects. Your expertise will ensure alignment with industry standards, organizational architecture principles, and design patterns. You will identify risks and recommend improvements to ensure strict adherence to Zero Trust security principles.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all projects adhere to applicable compliance requirements, security policies, and regulatory standards. This includes continuous monitoring and auditing to maintain the highest levels of security and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and document the business requirements for cybersecurity projects. Translate these business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements. Identify the most suitable technologies to address these requirements and evaluate available market tools to ensure the selected solutions effectively meet the organization's security objectives.
- Determine and implement technical controls based on established control frameworks like ISO 27001 and CoBIT. Conduct thorough assessments to ensure that these controls are appropriately integrated and maintained within the organization's security architecture.
Skills/Must have:
- Strong knowledge of secure design principles, Zero Trust principles, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC). Familiarity with telecom security, including 4G, 5G, and IoT, is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications, preferably CISSP, CCSP, and AWS/Azure Solution Architect certifications
- Technical expertise in enterprise security technologies, including Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and data security, infrastructure and network security tools, application security, cloud security, and other relevant technologies
- Experience in establishing Zero Trust-based architecture for key use cases such as identity-driven Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and micro-segmentation-based ZTA
