Responsibilities:
- Supervise the construction of trenched and aerial fiber networks, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Cultivate strong relationships with contractors, negotiating favorable agreements and upholding high-quality standards.
- Oversee network deployment using the Hexatronic method, a trusted approach for building efficient and reliable fiber systems.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team to align construction efforts with overall project goals.
- Track and report construction progress, addressing and resolving challenges promptly.
- Manage the construction budget, ensuring expenses remain within allocated limits.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, continuously enhancing your expertise.
Skills/Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing fiber network construction, including both trenched and aerial deployments.
- In-depth knowledge of the Hexatronic method for fiber network development.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, adept at collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed to oversee construction projects across various locations.
- Based in the United States, with a preference for candidates located in Charlotte, NC.
