Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Low-Level Designs (LLD) based on High-Level Design (HLD) documentation.
  • Design and configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity, and UCCX solutions.
  • Implement SIP trunks, H.323 gateways, and voice/video QoS policies to ensure high availability and quality.
  • Deploy and integrate Cisco voice and collaboration solutions with enterprise networks.
  • Conduct system migrations and upgrades, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption.
  • Oversee the end-to-end deployment of voice solutions in line with best practices.
  • Perform validation testing post-deployment to ensure configurations meet design specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to call routing, voicemail, and contact center solutions (UCCX).
  • Optimize dial plans, call flows, and codec selections for efficient voice traffic management.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support, ensuring the stability and performance of voice services.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SIP, H.323, and MGCP call flows to resolve call quality and connectivity issues.
  • Work closely with network and security teams to ensure voice traffic is prioritized and secured appropriately.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, troubleshooting steps, and changes.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for junior engineers and support teams.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training on Cisco voice and collaboration technologies.
  • Ensure voice solutions align with business needs and compliance standards.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
  • Cisco Unity Connection (Unity)
  • Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX)
  • SIP trunking, H.323 gateways, MGCP, and SRST
  • Experience with VoIP protocols, call signaling, and troubleshooting voice-related issues.
  • Knowledge of QoS, voice VLANs, and network integration for voice traffic optimization.
  • Experience in enterprise-level deployments, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment managing both projects and operations.


Certifications (Required/Preferred):

  • CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE (Collaboration/Voice)
