They are now seeking an experienced  DV Cleared Technical Bid Writer with a strong understanding of security strategy and frameworks to support the development of high-quality technical proposals for defence and national security clients.

This is for a long-term project on an initial 6-month contract but with the scope for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and write clear, concise, and compelling technical content for bids and proposals.
• Work closely with solution architects, security consultants, and technical SMEs to articulate complex solutions effectively.
• Ensure bids align with client requirements, security standards, and evaluation criteria.
• Translate technical information into structured responses, tailored to the defence/security sector.
• Ensure alignment with recognised security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, NCSC principles).

Key Skills & Experience Required

• Active DV Clearance 
• Proven experience as a Technical or Security Bid Writer, ideally within Defence, MoD, or national security environments.
• Strong understanding of security strategy, cybersecurity principles, and governance frameworks.
• Ability to engage with technical teams and translate complex concepts into clear, bid-ready responses.
• Experience in working in secure or classified environments.
