Systems Administrator - MSP

We are partnered with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Southern California, specializing in IT solutions for businesses. 

The company offers a range of services including network management, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and IT consulting. They aim to provide comprehensive IT support to improve the efficiency, security, and scalability of their clients' technology infrastructure.

Key areas of expertise include:

1. Network Management: Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures.
2. Cybersecurity: Protecting client data and systems from cyber threats through advanced security measures.
3. Cloud Solutions: Offering cloud services such as migration, management, and optimization.
4. IT Consulting: Providing strategic IT advice to help businesses align their technology with their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Azure Administration:
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and other cloud services.
  • Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of the Azure environment.
  • Implement and manage Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Optimize Azure costs by monitoring usage and implementing cost-saving measures.

• PowerShell Scripting:

  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and processes.
  • Create scripts for system configuration, deployment, and management.
  • Troubleshoot and debug PowerShell scripts to ensure efficiency and reliability.

• Systems Administration:

  • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches for both cloud-based and on-premises systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices to protect company data and systems.
