Responsibilities: 

  • Manage, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft 365, Azure, and related technologies.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Configure and manage enterprise-level networking solutions, including MPLS circuits and routers.
  • Implement and troubleshoot BGP configurations to ensure network stability and efficiency.
  • Support VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing across client environments.
  • Collaborate with ISPs and other vendors to ensure high availability of network services.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to clients, addressing escalations effectively and professionally.
  • Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects, such as network migrations, server upgrades, or cloud transitions.
  • Document processes, network configurations, and client environments for seamless knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure systems and networks adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Perform regular system and network audits, applying patches and updates as needed.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft/Windows systems administration, including Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and practices, including MPLS, BGP, and routing principles.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, and routers (Cisco, Juniper, or similar).
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within an MSP environment.
