The Senior Vice President of Datacenter Operations will be responsible for overseeing the management, performance, and expansion of the data center facilities. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of high-performance computing, Bitcoin mining operations, and renewable energy integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

• Develop and implement the overall strategy for data center operations to support company growth and objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of data center managers and technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align data center operations with broader business goals.

Operational Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of data centers, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and security.
• Implement best practices for data center management, including capacity planning, resource allocation, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Technical Expertise:

• Ensure the effective deployment and maintenance of high-performance computing infrastructure and Bitcoin mining equipment.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data center management and cryptocurrency mining.
• Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.

Sustainability & Energy Management:

• Champion the integration of renewable energy sources into data center operations to reduce carbon footprint and operational costs.
• Develop and implement energy management strategies, including partnerships with renewable energy providers.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.

Expansion & Development:

• Drive the expansion of data center facilities, including site selection, design, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
• Oversee budget planning and financial management for data center operations and expansion projects.

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure data center security, compliance, and operational risk management.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Skills/Must have:

• Leadership Experience 
• Data Center Networking / Hands-on Networking Experience 
• Passion for Cryptocurrency, Blockchain & Data Center Engineering 

Salary: 

• $180,000 - $215,000 Base Salary Per Annum
