The leading consultancy firm has partnered with a market-leading IP service provider and is seeking a skilled Splunk Architect to work with a cutting-edge organisation, leading the design, implementation, and optimisation of Splunk solutions. This role offers a hybrid working model combining remote work with on-site presence at the Reading-based office.

Responsibilities:

  • Create High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and solution documents for Splunk deployment across the enterprise.
  • Lead the deployment and management of Splunk Cloud solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Configure and integrate Splunk Cloud with various data sources, ensuring effective data ingestion and system interoperability.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of the Splunk Cloud deployment to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Identify and prioritise data sources for onboarding into Splunk, developing and implementing effective data ingestion strategies.
  • Ensure data quality, normalisation, and enrichment to enhance analytics and insights.
  • Perform routine administration tasks, including user and index management, system monitoring, and overall platform maintenance.
  • Manage Splunk licensing, upgrades, and capacity planning to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of Splunk configurations, processes, and procedures to support ongoing operations and future scalability.


Skills/Must have:

  • Proven experience as a Splunk Architect, with expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Splunk Cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level Splunk deployments, including HLD and LLD creation.
  • In-depth knowledge of data ingestion strategies, ensuring data quality, normalisation, and enrichment.
  •  Experience in performance tuning, system optimisation, and capacity planning for Splunk environments.
  • Familiarity with Splunk licensing models, upgrade processes, and best practice configurations.
  • Splunk Certifications such as Splunk Certified Architect, Splunk Certified Administrator, or equivalent.
