Responsibilities:
- Incident response
- Vulnerability assessment
- SIEM
Skills/Must have 4-5 of these skills minimum
- 4-6years of actual SOC experience
- Incident Response (Great if they have GCIH or attended training) GCIH not a must
- Microsoft Sentinel experience not just having certifications, but no experience
- Proofpoint (solid understanding for phishing and remediation)
- Vulnerability management Nessus, Rapid7 or Qualys (SANs GWAPT) will be great, but not a must
- PowerShell, Python or KQL programming language (scale 1-10 be a 5-6 minimum)
- Red Team, hacking skills (Hack the box)
- Any kind of blue team training or certifications
- Palo Alto Cortex XDR (Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Splunk)
