We are working with a company that runs Germany’s Air Traffic Control networks and ensures the safety of every aeroplane in German airspace. 

We are now helping them to find a Site Reliability Engineer to join their critical system team. You will work in a team of 16 engineers in their critical system team. You will act as their expert on all things Automation and DevOps, building and automating their system using GitLab, Ansible and Terraform to name a few of their tools.

You will be responsible for resolving technical problems on complex network systems, as well as designing, constructing, and operating the services and platform used for application operations

 You will also ensure that the data centre platform meets functionality, interoperability, and availability requirements through its lifecycle

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively resolving technical issues within complex, interconnected systems.
  • Ensuring that the data center platform meets functionality, interoperability, and availability requirements throughout its lifecycle.
  • Independently executing complex modifications, including design and architecture changes.
  • Preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
  • Designing, developing, and managing the services and platforms required for application operations, while providing user guidance on application development.
  • Designing continuous delivery processes and pipelines for the development, deployment, and operation of services.

Skills/Must have:

  • GitLab experience 
  • Ansible automation experience
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP 
  • German native
