Responsibilities:

• Maintaining SIEM Platforms: Ensuring optimal performance and functionality of the SOC's SIEM platforms.
• Event Source Management: Onboarding and overseeing SIEM event sources, facilitating smooth transitions to live SOC Managed Services.
• Infrastructure Development: Aiding in developing new SOC infrastructure to enhance SIEM and other SOC requirements.
• Guidance and Support: Providing expert guidance and support to SOC personnel on SIEM operations, concepts, and advancements.
• Detection Mechanism Development: Collaborating with the Analytics Development team to devise and deploy innovative detection mechanisms, incorporating both traditional analytics and cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
• Incident Support: Offering SIEM expertise during incidents and investigations, assisting Security Analysts as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements and progression.

Skills/Must Have:

• Proven experience in designing, integrating, and deploying SIEM tools.
• Proficiency with Splunk is essential.
• Splunk certifications are advantageous and will be considered favourably.
