Responsibilities: 

  • Lead technical consulting projects on satellite constellation design and performance optimization.
  • Conduct end-to-end engineering of satellite communications constellations, including sizing, specification, optimization, and performance assessments.
  • Run simulations and technical analyses to assess payload capabilities, interference, handover strategies, gateway positioning, and inter-satellite links.
  • Translate customer requirements into engineering solutions and provide recommendations based on trade-offs between cost, complexity, and performance.
  • Provide expertise on spectrum regulatory aspects related to satellite communications.
  • Deliver clear and concise reports and presentations, summarizing complex technical assessments for clients.
  • Collaborate with an international team of engineers and consultants to develop solutions for government, commercial, and defense customers.


Skills / Must Have:

  • MSc in space engineering with a focus on telecommunications.
  • 5–7 years of experience in satellite communications, including at least 3 years supporting Satcom constellation design (payloads, antennas, inter-satellite links).
  • Strong background in technical assessments and simulation tools (Python, MATLAB, etc.).
  • Understanding of spectrum regulation and its impact on constellation design.
  • Ability to work independently in a consulting environment, delivering high-quality technical analyses.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • EU citizenship required (to qualify for NATO and EU defense projects).


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in commercial and operational trade-offs for satellite systems.
  • Additional European languages.
  • Background in telecom, space consulting, or defense projects.
