Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve network hardware and software connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot wireless access points and controllers.
  • Perform remote monitoring and management of network infrastructure using SolarWinds.
  • Respond to tickets, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Conduct network trend analysis for capacity planning and proactive fault detection.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document network syslogs.
  • Collaborate with TAC as needed to resolve advanced technical issues.
  • Administer and maintain network services and hardware under team responsibility.
  • Design, implement, and operate Cisco ISE solutions.
  • Monitor network performance, optimize bandwidth usage, and address tuning requirements.
  • Troubleshoot LAN and wireless issues across different platforms.
  • Provide RCA for major incidents and problems.
  • Contribute to documentation, standards reviews, and operational procedures.
  • Work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment as required.


Qualifications Required:

  • Strong knowledge of network administration processes and concepts.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or ITIL V3/V4 are highly preferred.
  • Expertise in SDLAN (Cisco SDA), Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, BIG-IP, DDI, and Cisco SD-WAN.
  • Hands-on experience with routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), VPN, and wireless technologies.
  • Proficiency with tools like LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and Cisco Spaces.
  • Extensive experience in wired/wireless networking and network security.


Desired Skills:

  • Solid understanding of wireless networking, including 802.1x flow, Guest Wireless, and TACACS.
  • Experience with WLCs (e.g., RFS 4000, V2110, NX9600) and WAPs (e.g., AP302W, AP460C, AP500).
  • Knowledge of NAC solution flows and WLAN architecture, design, and protocols.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Ethernet platforms like Cisco and Siemens Scalance.
  • Skills in network automation and working with APIs.
  • Strong expertise in routing and switching.
