Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design and operation of customer transport networks, validating requirements for network hardware and functionality.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop customer-centric, profitable solutions.
  • Coordinate and execute small to medium scale network design projects, including demos and proof-of-concepts.
  • Support sales in creating pricing, proposals, and scopes of work (SOW).
  • Interface with other departments on product development and project implementation.
  • Provide internal training, project updates, and ongoing technical assessments for optimal deployment.


Required Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
  • Expert-level knowledge of data networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Layer 2 features (VLAN, LAG, etc.).
  • Mastery of Layer 3 routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and experience with MPLS and Carrier Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with Layer 1 optical protocols and network security protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate technical details effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, or computer sciences preferred.
