Senior Network Engineer - Solution Provider

We are currently seeking an IT network specialist to join our Systems Integrator clients team in the Services & IT department in Nuremberg. In this role, you will play a crucial part in their managed and professional services.

Responsibilities:

• Planner and designer of networks. You plan and put LAN/WLAN infrastructures into operation and put them through their paces. 
• Analyze existing network environments to find out how they can be made even better. 
• Develop network plans and designs that meet not only current but also future requirements. 
• Selection and implementation of network components such as routers, switches and firewalls.
• Network administration - configuration and maintenance of Cisco, Huawei and Fortinet devices. 
• Regular maintenance work, troubleshooting and ensuring network performance and security.
• Network projects from planning to implementation and work closely with other teams and departments. 
• As 3rd level support, you will support our customers with network problems and document both the problems and the solutions. 

Skills/Must have:

• Vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or a similar qualification.
• Several years of professional experience as a network specialist 
• Specialist knowledge of Cisco, Huawei and Fortinet technologies. 
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or Fortinet NSE are advantageous.
• Great communicator, a team player and can work independently.

Salary:

• €75,000 Per Year
