The leading consultancy firm is looking for a skilled Senior LAN Network Consultant for an initial 6-month contract, with the rate signed off inside IR35. Additionally, this position offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement LAN networks based on architectural standards, including physical and logical configurations.
• Collaborate with architectural and design teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Work closely with project management teams to meet deliverables and deadlines.
• Lead technical reviews and approvals for complex network-level changes.
• Provide business-critical project support, including out-of-hours implementation when required.
• Maintain up-to-date network infrastructure documentation.
• Contribute to best practices and process improvements within the Provisioning team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong expertise in Software Defined Networking (SDN).
• Experience with Cisco Routing & Switching, Nexus.
• Security Technology knowledge – Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA.
• Experience with F5 appliances.
• Solid understanding of Data Centre L2/L3 principles and devices.
• Strong knowledge of Any Source Multicast (ASM) and Source-Specific Multicast (SSM).
• Proficiency in IP PIM Sparse Mode and IP IGMP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, GIT, GITLAB, and JSON.
