They are currently seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to oversee and manage the daily operations of their IT infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- You will be involved in administrative IT tasks (Microsoft Entra ID maintenance, mailbox creation, documentation, license management, IP address management, patch management, backups, etc.).
- Responsible for the installation and maintenance of servers including virtualization.
- Support network maintenance and development (switch/router configurations, firewall configurations, etc.).
- Work actively in IT support (helpdesk, client support including telephones, printers, etc.).
- Be part of the on-call rotation.
- Responsible for system monitoring as well as the development and implementation of improvements.
- Actively participate in the further development of the infrastructure system landscape.
- Responsible for the maintenance and further development of the infrastructure landscape (OnPrem and MS Azure).
Skills/Must have:
- You are interested in all topics related to the operation of IT infrastructure.
- Ideally, you have a good to very good qualification with a focus on IT.
- You are confident in using Windows servers, client operating systems, Microsoft Entra ID and Exchange.
- You have practical experience with Microsoft Active Directory Services and ideally with M365 technology.
- You have initial experience in the administration of Linux systems.
- You enjoy the further development and maintenance of IT systems.
- You are familiar with cloud architectures (preferably Microsoft Azure) and can develop, implement and operate backup concepts (in the cloud, on-premises and in hybrid environments).
- You have advanced knowledge of networks (IP, routing, DNS, WINS, DHCP, etc.).
- Ideally, you are familiar with the following topics: VMware, vCenter and vSphere.
