Responsibilities:
- Develop robust solutions to store, manage, and retrieve critical company information.
- Install and configure information systems to ensure full operational functionality.
- Work with stakeholders to define structural requirements for new software and applications.
- Create conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts to streamline data flows.
- Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and integrate new elements to enhance system performance.
- Work on new and existing database systems to optimize for scalability and efficiency.
- Define and implement security and backup procedures to protect company data.
- Coordinate closely with the Data Science team to identify future data needs and requirements.
- Provide essential support for Management Information Systems (MIS) to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- 10+ years in data architecture, design, and strategy, with proven experience in the banking industry.
- Must have experience preparing and delivering data-related presentations for C-suite executives.
- Expertise in migration projects, moving from legacy to cutting-edge data solutions.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) extensions.
- Deep understanding of database structures and principles.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret system requirements.
- Proficient in SQL and Oracle, with strong knowledge of data mining and segmentation.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience with tools like Tableau, D3.js, and R is highly desirable.
