Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor for IT solutions.
  • Sales & Business Development – Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts by understanding client needs and aligning them with our offerings.
  • Technical Solution Selling – Leverage your knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and systems engineering to position relevant products and services.
  • Vendor & Partner Engagement – Collaborate with leading technology vendors and internal technical teams to design and propose tailored IT solutions.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting – Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide forecasts, and meet/exceed revenue targets.
  • Proposal Development – Create and present proposals, quotes, and statements of work to clients.
  • Market & Industry Awareness – Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in IT infrastructure, security, and managed services to bring value to clients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Account Management experience in a VAR or MSP environment
  • Strong understanding of Networking (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, etc.), Cybersecurity (Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.), and Systems Engineering (VMware, Microsoft, cloud solutions)
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and manage customer relationships at an enterprise level
  • Experience working with technology vendors, distributors, and reseller partnerships
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications (Cisco, AWS, Microsoft, Fortinet, etc.) are a plus
