Responsibilities:
- Supervise contract security staff and manage daily security operations.
- Oversee compliance with security protocols, including access control, visitor management, and incident reporting.
- Collaborate with vendors on system repairs, security upgrades, and construction-related activities.
- Investigate security incidents and ensure timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain working relationships with local law enforcement, fire services, and EMS.
- Ensure the functionality of all security systems through regular inspections and maintenance.
- Manage security operations during emergencies and provide 24/7 on-call availability as required.
- Develop training programs, conduct security briefings, and support onboarding for new staff.
Skills/Must have:
- 5+ years of experience in security patrolling and reporting.
- 3+ years of experience managing security vendors, contractors, and customers.
- Experience with access control systems, CCTV, and related software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in operations or physical security.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and emergency response planning.
- Ability to travel up to 10% and perform physical tasks as needed.
