As a Cyber Security Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth onboarding for new clients and maintaining optimal platform performance. This role is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the UK.


Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact for new customers, ensuring smooth transitions and platform optimization.
  • Configure security controls and continuously seek improvements, including vulnerability management.
  • Research threats, security weaknesses, and vulnerabilities to devise effective countermeasures.
  • Manage internal and external security testing (red, blue, purple), and security assurance testing.
  • Provide operational insight for the evaluation and selection of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Configure and fine-tune cybersecurity tools and solutions, including firewalls, vulnerability management tools, and EDR.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer-facing skills, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Ideally, familiarity with Qradar or Sentinel.
  • 2-3 years of experience in security operations, with a desire to progress into security engineering.
