Satellite Engineer (m/f/d) - Satellite Communication Provider

As a Satellite Engineer with a Satellite Communication Provider in Frankfurt, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of satellite communication services. 

You will be part of the Sales Engineering team, working closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, capture and define requirements, design and present solutions, and deliver and install these solutions.

You'll be at the forefront of managing satellite operators, enhancing link budgets, and fortifying network security.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding and documenting customer requirements from site surveys and meetings.
• Estimating costs, designing, and implementing new customer solutions.
• Visiting customer sites and vessels for the installation, commissioning, and servicing of maritime communication solutions.
• Providing support to the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Operations team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service availability.
• Tested and launched new products and services into the company's portfolio.
• Installing and commissioning maritime satellite services and data/network solutions on vessels.
• Creating detailed documentation for completed work.
• Collaborating with team members to enhance work processes.

Skills/Must have:

• Maritimie VSAT experience 
• knowledge of MPLS networks
