Resident Network Engineer - Systems Integrator

This role is based onsite at a Hospital in Chelsea, where you’ll play a key part in maintaining and optimizing critical network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage the hospital’s network infrastructure, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Handle and prioritize network tickets, contributing to project work when required.
• Manage incident requests, process changes, and attend CAB meetings to ensure minimal downtime.
• Proactively monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues (e.g., wireless access problems), and escalate as needed.
• Represent the MSP onsite, acting as a trusted point of contact while liaising with the remote support team for additional backup.

Skills/Must have:

• Strong customer-facing skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving.
• Previous onsite experience, ideally in high-pressure environments (e.g., trading floors, airports, hospitals).
• Solid networking knowledge (CCNA+ level) with expertise in:
• BGP, OSPF
• Network Access Control (NAC)
• Authentication protocols (RADIUS)
• Experience handling incidents, making informed decisions, and ensuring continuous uptime.
• A reliable individual who thrives in environments where attention to detail and autonomy are essential.

Salary:

• £45,000-£54,000
