We are seeking an innovative leader to drive business unit sales growth and market expansion. The company drives digital transformation in all levels of business, including healthcare, oil and gas, real estate etc. and provides comprehensive cybersecurity services to enterprises across Canada.

This role is accountable to the CEO for the strategic direction and then delivering on the targets for IT, data center and Cyber Solutions. The President of IT and Cyber Solutions will be responsible for the overall management of new and existing products and services to maintain and advance the company’s competitive position and profitability.


Responsibilities:

  • Define and set the IT and Cyber/technologies Solution’s operational and strategic goals and objectives, including profitability, in conjunction with the CEO and company vision
  • Integrate corporate goals into the business planning activities of the business unit
  • Forecast business trends, identifying key opportunities and risks that have the potential to impact profitability
  • Organize and develop your team to deliver on corporate and business unit goals
  • Develop, and implement the short and long-range business plans to achieve growth targets while minimizing associated risks
  • Identify and develop new products or services to meet competitive challenges and market opportunities, while leveraging the expertise of the team
  • Design and implement appropriate decision-making structures that are responsive to the dynamics of the business
  • Critically examine succession plans and the performance of staff, implement development plans and modify as required
  • Identify, implement, and articulate the values and objectives critical to the team’s success
  • Establish and ensure that the team operates within appropriate policy guidelines
  • Oversee the operations of the business unit through appropriate levels of senior management
  •  Interface with customers and ensure satisfaction of requirements

Skills/Must have:

  • Post secondary education in a related field or other advanced degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in progressive experience in a mid-sized to large company.
  •  Demonstrated ability to lead and grow a business with a P&L mindset
  • Extensive knowledge of the technology industry’s and market conditions
  • Experience working in a data center environment that offers IAAS, BUaaS, SAas etc.
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • An understanding of product development and solution selling in a modern environment
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making and communication skills
  • Experience developing business and success in persuading and negotiating with others
  • Proven ability to establish long-range objectives and specify the strategies and actions to achieve them
