Responsibilities 

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and cabling systems.
• Ensure the data center operates efficiently through proper configuration and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
• Monitor network performance to identify potential issues and optimize efficiency
• Basic splicing or desire to learn basic splicing. 
• Working at heights, either climbing or bucket truck usage. 
• Running wire, pulling cable, and handling Fiber for Fiber to the Home. 

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1 - 3 years of experience in telecommunications, preferably within OSP
• Experience with splicing, pulling cable, OSP construction, and running wire, bucket truck skills, climbing. 
• Basic fiber optics and copper cabling.
