The company is currently seeking for an Optical Sales Engineer to assist the sales teams through offering technical insights and network architecture designs that strategically position the optical products in the market.

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with sales to craft customer-focused, profitable network solutions.
  • Assess and validate technical requirements for network hardware, software, and functionality.
  • Participate in sales calls and lead network design projects.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) remotely or on-site.
  • Support proposal creation, pricing, and scope of work (SOW) development.
  • Communicate with internal teams and vendors to ensure technical alignment and project success.
  • Conduct training sessions and ongoing technology assessments for new and existing employees.


Required Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in optical network engineering.
  • Intermediate knowledge of optical fiber principles, network design, and components.
  • Understanding of L1 network protocols, including SONET/SDH, DWDM, and ROADM.
  • Proficiency in optical testing equipment (e.g., OTDRs, optical power meters).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving optical network issues.
  • Effective communication, organizational skills, and ability to follow procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, or related field preferred.
