Network Support Manager - IT Solutions Provider

We are seeking an experienced Plant Industrial Network Support Manager to oversee the management, daily troubleshooting, design, and implementation of industrial network solutions on their manufacturing plant floor for a 12-month contract.

This role involves supporting all aspects of our industrial network infrastructure, including servers, switches, HMI industrial PCs, and PLCs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and support all industrial network server hardware, virtual machines, and installed software.
• Analyze existing network infrastructure to identify weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and IT policy compliance issues.
• Suggest, develop, design, and implement network solutions with a focus on automation reliability.
• Prepare and submit capital expenditure requests for major improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain documentation of network architecture.
• Manage and support industrial network PCs running Wonderware HMI software, as well as PCs used for industrial programming and development.
• Provide written training on network and server troubleshooting for plant technical resources, including engineers and maintenance technicians.
• Support and troubleshoot PLCs and associated field IO devices.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware/software to meet desktop service levels.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial network management.
• Thorough knowledge of specifying, designing, implementing, and maintaining equipment for industrial/business networking, servers, switches, and PCs.
• Direct knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco products and solutions.
• Experience in designing and installing network switch and cabling infrastructure.
• Strong research skills to address networking issues and products as needed.
• Comfortable working in an industrial plant manufacturing environment.
• Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Day Rate: 300 PD - 375 PD
