Network Support Engineer - Telecommunications

As a Network Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of technical support, providing essential maintenance and assistance to our Enterprise and Business customers. 

You’ll have the opportunity to work on network monitoring, fault diagnosis, and collaboration with internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless network operations. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining service availability and meeting SLAs, while also contributing to process improvements and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical support for Enterprise and Business customers, including maintenance and troubleshooting of infrastructure.
• Monitor internal and external networks across a multi-vendor environment.
• Perform initial triage diagnosis on faults and escalate issues as necessary.
• Prioritize faults to meet SLAs, managing external contractors when required.
• Provide tier 2 network technical support, notification, and escalation.

Skills/Must have:

• 2-4 years minimum NOC experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Experience with Cambium Fixed Wireless, LTE Telrad, Ubiquity GPON, Calix XGS-PON E7, Juniper Router (Junos), Suklu Radio, Dragonwave Radio, ZTE GPON, KEA DHCP servers, and PowerDNS.
• Proficient in troubleshooting Transport and IP customer trouble tickets on DWDM/SDH and Ethernet networks.
