As a vital member of our clients Network Engineering team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the network infrastructure's seamless operation and optimal performance. Your role is pivotal in maintaining reliable and secure connectivity across their organization, supporting business operations, and facilitating efficient data transfer. 

Operating within a fast-paced environment, you'll excel in meeting company objectives and addressing network-related challenges promptly.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance and identify potential issues using management tools.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, alerts, and incidents to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot network-related incidents and outages.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues and escalate problems as necessary.
  • Document incident details, resolutions, and post-incident reports for continuous improvement.
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks and implement changes in the network infrastructure.
  • Effectively communicate with internal teams, external vendors, and customers to provide updates on incidents and maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for NOC activities.

Skills/Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in network operations, monitoring, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., JIRA, Zabbix, Vetro, COS).
  • Familiarity with firewall technologies, VPNs, and security practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
