Network Field Engineer - Service Provider

As a Network Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site networking support, including racking and stacking equipment, configuring hardware, and ensuring smooth operations of switches, routers, and firewalls. Your expertise in commissioning and knowledge of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS will be crucial in maintaining and optimizing the network infrastructure.

This position is for an initial 6-month contract and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a three-year program with ample room for growth and professional development.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (Scope for extension)
• Location: Lüttow-Valluhn, Germany
• Commencement Date - ASAP
• Daily Rate: Competitive on application

Responsibilities:

• Physically install racks and configure network equipment.
• Provision and troubleshoot networking equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions.
• Conduct on-site maintenance and provide technical support as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

• Experience in installing and configuring network equipment.
• Proficiency in working with multiple vendors' equipment.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are advantageous.
