Network Engineer x2 - Telecommunications

We are currently in search of a Network Engineer specialising in both CISCO Core and Data Centre Infrastructure technologies for a 18-24 month contract!

As a Network Engineer, your role involves offering daily operational assistance to the company. You'll address third-level faults primarily related to Cisco products, showcasing your problem-solving skills and ensuring customer satisfaction.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with network setup and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including routing, switching, load balancing, wireless, and voice systems.
• Handle enterprise DHCP, DNS, VLAN, and network device inventory adjustments.
• Configure and deploy network devices and services.
• Collaborate efficiently with carrier and vendor technicians.
• Participate in on-call support rotations.
• Perform after-hours changes and incident responses as necessary. 

Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience equivalent to Cisco CCNP certification.
• Proficiency in Cisco Data Centre technologies.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as SDWAN, WAN, LAN, WIFI, and Voice
• Practical involvement with DNS and DHCP technology alterations.
• Proficiency in utilizing network support tools like packet tracing and network monitoring utilities.

Salary:

• $800 per day
