Network Engineer (SC Cleared) - Solutions Provider

We are partnered with a forward-thinking and growing technology solutions provider seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join this expanding team. 

This role is ideal for someone passionate about networking, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality solutions to customers. You will play a crucial role in supporting UK-cleared customers, ensuring seamless network operations, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote support to customers, ensuring their technical needs are met.
• Work closely with clients to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing operational success.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related issues efficiently.
• Act as the first escalation point for technical challenges, referring complex cases to senior engineers when necessary.
• Conduct thorough testing of network hardware, software, and configurations.
• Validate solutions against design specifications and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical proficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of troubleshooting steps, network configurations, and customer interactions.
• Provide clear technical updates and progress reports to project managers and clients.

Skills & Experience: 

• Security Clearance: SC Clearance is essential; candidates must already hold or be eligible to obtain it.
• Certifications: Industry-recognised certifications such as CCNA, JCNIA, or COMPTIA Network+ are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network security. Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting tools. Experience with network management concepts and protocols (SNMPv2c/v3, monitoring & alerting, configuration management, etc.).
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer Focus: Experience in maintaining strong client relationships.?? Documentation: Ability to create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
