Network Engineer - Telecommunicatins

We are working with a a company based out of Memphis that provides telecom/networking services and hardware to both SMB and enterprise-level businesses. Their clients include federal facilities, hospitals, corporate facilities, and more.  They leverage a national network of technicians to provide on-site technical support, and their goal is to always stay on the leading edge of technology and provide comprehensive services covering all aspects of telecom, network, and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Network Design
• Network Deployment
• Network troubleshooting
• roll-outs and upgrades
• Local Customer Site Travel

Skills/Must have:

• 3+ years’ wireless/RF engineering, with preference to experience in industrial and/or distribution center environments
•  3+ years’ working with Cisco/Meraki technologies
• Network Administration and Network Engineering skills
• Troubleshooting and Network Security skills
• Network Design skills
•  Experience in equipment roll-outs, upgrades, and network configuration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

STRONG consideration will be given for the following skills (MUST hold at least one of the listed certifications below):

• Moderate to expert level experience with wireless RF technologies, with a heavy preference towards Cisco, Aruba and Meraki platforms
• Aruba and Meraki certifications - preferred
• CCNP Wireless – preference given
• CWNA – preferred
• CMSS – preferred
• CCNA Wireless
