They are seeking for a Network Engineer with strong expertise in managing the onboarding process and ongoing relationship with new clients. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of client projects, from initial engagement through project delivery, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, and manage enterprise-level network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless devices.
- Maintain and monitor Cisco-based networking solutions to ensure optimal functionality and high network availability.
- Implement, troubleshoot, and support Cisco Security solutions (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, ASA, etc.) to protect the integrity of the network.
- Deploy and configure Cisco Wireless solutions (e.g., Cisco Access Points, Controllers) to ensure seamless wireless connectivity across all company locations.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Work with Fortinet security products (e.g., FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer) to ensure the network's security posture is up to date.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of network expansions and upgrades.
- Assist in the development and implementation of network security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance for internal teams on networking and security issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to networking and cybersecurity.
Skills/Must have:
- Proficiency with Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Security solutions (ASA, Firepower, VPNs, etc.).
- Expertise in Cisco Wireless solutions (Access Points, Controllers, etc.).
- CCNA certification (or equivalent experience) is highly preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Fortinet security products (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a complex network environment.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
