Network Engineer - IP Networking

Responsibilities:

• Assist in engineering tasks, focusing on Layer 2 and Layer 3 circuit configuration for new services.
• Support design and implementation of infrastructure projects and provisioning of network services.
• Diagnose, triage, and resolve network issues; develop remediation strategies to maintain network stability.
• Provide technical support to the Network Operations Center and field support at customer sites for troubleshooting and circuit installations.
• Document and manage network changes and communicate project statuses to internal stakeholders.
• May be required to perform additional tasks as requested by management.

Skills/Must have:

• In-depth understanding of Layer 1-3 networking, including fiber optics, VLANs, MPLS/VPLS, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience with Juniper hardware and JUNOS
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in service provider or customer network environments.
• Experience with SD-WAN
• SIP/voice
• AWS/Azure cloud connectivity
