Network Engineer - Government

A BC Government body is seeking an experienced Network Engineer for a full-time permanent position.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will get to work with leading networking technologies and lead every network project. 

Due to the nature of the role, you will also be offered the flexibility of working hybrid and spending only 2 days a week in the office

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Networking projects - deploy, configure, upgrade, migrate etc all networking devices with the networking team
• Train and mentor the junior network engineers 
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues

Skills/Must have:

• LAN, WAN, Wireless Network Engineering experience - Projects and Support 
• Firewall projects and Support experience 
• VoIP Engineering experience 
• OSPF, BGP, SIP, QoS, VPN, IPSec ad MPLS experience
