Additionally, the position involves contributing to disaster recovery planning and providing technical support, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members, including Help Desk personnel.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and install wired and wireless networks for project and regional offices, collaborating with the project setup coordinator. Some travel within the US may be required to manage or perform network setups at project sites.
• Recommend network and voice communications hardware and software standards.
• Select, purchase, configure, and install data network hardware.
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure adherence to prescribed SLAs.
• Establish and maintain project schedules for network technology deployments.
• Develop and maintain network security practices and implement security monitoring procedures.
• Install and configure IP voice communications hardware and software.
• Participate in bi-monthly off-hour scheduled maintenance windows.
• Alternate weekly on-call responsibilities to provide after-hours coverage for critical outage issues.
