Responsibilities: 

• Design, configure, and manage Cisco routers and switches to ensure optimal network performance and availability 
• Implement and maintain Fortinet security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and network security policies.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct regular maintenance to guarantee uptime and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network projects, upgrades, and deployments.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Enhance network security by managing firewalls, VPNs, and implementing security protocols.
• Maintain network documentation and provide regular updates on network status and performance.
• Assist in the planning and execution of network infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco routing and switching.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet products, including firewalls and security solutions.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) and/or Fortinet certifications (NSE) are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
• Experience with VPN technologies, network monitoring tools, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of network security best practices and implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in enterprise or large-scale network environments.
• Knowledge of wireless networking, VoIP, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for network automation.

Salary:

• $80,000 - $100,000
