Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, documentation, and implementation of network solutions to deliver on Freedom Fibre’s business objectives.
• Manage the delivery of multiple projects at the same time to achieve agreed timescales.
• Contribute to the build and capacity management of the network, to facilitate optimal network operation under normal and failure conditions.
• Manage & resolve complex network and system incidents within desirable timeframes to meet defined SLAs.
• Engage and manage relationships with 3rd parties such as vendors, suppliers, and strategic technical partners.
• Contribute to the development of automation solutions to improve process/operational efficiency in the Network Engineering team.
• Participate in the on-call rota to support the optimal operation of the network.
• Support the mentoring of colleagues to aid their development.

Skills/Must have:

• Telecoms Experience
• Experience with Layer2 /Layer3 routing and switching protocols (BGP/OSPF/ISIS/STP/Q-in-Q,Storm control
• G-PON / XGS-PON Experience
