Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for interaction with LAN/WAN network components and telecommunications systems including:
- routers,
- switches,
- firewalls,
- SIP,
- network cards,
- cabling and attached computer systems,
- telecommunications equipment such as PBX, Voice Gateways, Smart jacks, and other devices,
- Design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications and data network systems.
Skills/Must have:
- Familiarity with QOS, VLAN’s, Signaling, and VoIP protocols
- Skills in industry best practices for design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications and data network systems.
- Some experience with Linux and Windows operating systems administration as it relates to network engineering
