Network Consultant - Telecommunications

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Consultant with expertise in network design and implementation to join our telecommunications clients team on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely while supporting a leading client based in Hamburg so there will be some aspects of travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex network solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Configure and optimize Cisco Routing & Switching solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Lead the deployment and management of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for Network Access Control (NAC), including:
• 802.1x Implementation for secure network access.
• Access Control and Policy Enforcement to ensure compliance and security.
• Guest Access Management to handle external users effectively.
• Authentication and Authorization for secure access based on user roles.
• Endpoint Profiling and Device Management for visibility and control of network devices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco R&S and Cisco ISE.
• Proven track record in implementing access control and policy enforcement using Cisco technologies.
• Experience in handling authentication, authorization, guest access management, and endpoint profiling.
• Certifications: CCNP/CCIE (Preferred, but not mandatory)

Day rate:

• €80PH - €95PH
