Network Administrator - Consultancy

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
• Configure and manage VLANs, STP, and QoS across the network.
• Implement and maintain Cisco security solutions, including firewalls (ASA/Firepower) and VPNs.
• Perform routine upgrades, patches, and backups of network devices.
• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Cisco DNA.
• Assist in network documentation and maintain accurate records of changes and configurations.
• Support and collaborate with IT teams on projects and escalations.

Skills/Must have:

• 3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking devices (CCNA or CCNP certification preferred).
• Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies.
• Experience with firewalls and VPN configurations.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
