We are partnered with a heavy equipment sales and rental company operating in central and southern California. that cater to a diverse range of clients across various industries. They are now seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their network and server infrastructure.
This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the company's systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Network Management: Design, configure, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other networking systems.
- Systems Administration: Install, configure, and maintain servers, including hardware and software updates, patches, and backups.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system and network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems for efficiency and reliability.
- User Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users. Resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system processes, and IT procedures.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software purchases, installations, and maintenance.
Skills/Must have:
- Proficiency in managing [specific systems, e.g., Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, VMware, etc.].
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
- Experience with network security, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSA) are preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
