NAC Engineer - System Integrator

An IT services provider based in Richardson, Texas, specializing in multi-vendor technology integration, managed IT solutions, and networking services, is seeking a Network Access Control (NAC) Engineer. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Network Access Control (NAC) solutions with Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE.
• Configure and manage 802.1X authentication, guest access, and device profiling.
• Support the integration of NAC solutions with network infrastructure, including switching, routing, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution related to NAC policies, authentication failures, and endpoint compliance.
• Work collaboratively with security and network teams to enhance network access policies and ensure compliance with security best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance for NAC deployments and user access management.
• Maintain detailed documentation of NAC configurations, policies, and network diagrams.
• Conduct performance analysis, monitoring, and reporting for NAC systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in network security and access control.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE (willingness to transition to ClearPass is required).
• Strong knowledge of 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, TACACS+, and EAP protocols.
• Experience with network infrastructure technologies, including Routing & Switching (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.).
• Familiarity with firewall policies, VPN, and network segmentation.
• Understanding of wireless security, including integration with NAC solutions.
• Experience working with Active Directory, LDAP, and certificate-based authentication.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to document solutions and processes effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP) or equivalent certification.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud-based NAC solutions and Zero Trust security models.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, Ansible) for network security tasks.
• Experience in handling large-scale NAC deployments

Salary:

• $100,000 - $120,000
