As the Manager of Broadband Network Operations, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth functioning of our Network Operations Center (NOC). Collaborating closely with the Director of Broadband Network Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the NOC team and refining operational processes to maintain top-notch service standards. Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the NOC team, ensuring full shift coverage and effective collaboration.
- Act as an escalation point for the NOC team, handling complex issues with precision and efficiency.
- Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure NOC performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor NOC operations to ensure support objectives are met and maintained.
- Oversee NOC team training for industry certifications and client systems.
- Engage with clients regularly to address issues and concerns, providing exemplary customer service.
- Serve as an on-call resource for upper-level escalations, ensuring prompt resolution of critical issues.
- Administer various NOC systems and technologies, facilitating smooth operations.
Skills/Must-have:
- Extensive experience in operating, troubleshooting, and designing Service Provider Networks (7-10 years).
- Proficiency in multiple ISP Broadband Access technologies such as Calix, Adtran, Cambium, Nokia, etc.
- Strong understanding of Service Provider networking principles and GPON, XGS PON, FTTP architectures.
- Hands-on experience in configuring IP Routers, Ethernet switches, and broadband access technologies.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage personnel effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education preferred.
